On this day in Music History - Nov 13, 1968 Rolling Stones' guitarist Brian Jones buys Cotchford Farms in Sussex, England where A.A. Milne wrote Winnie the Pooh. There were still statues of Pooh characters on the grounds. "Up, Down, Touch the Ground" is a song from Disney's 1966 featurette *Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree*. In this scene, Winnie the Pooh engages in his "stoutness exercises," singing to stimulate his appetite. The song was written by the Sherman Brothers, Richard M. Sherman an
