During last week's Service of Thanksgiving to marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day, The Choir of Westminster Abbey sung 'God is our Hope and Strength' - setting of words from Psalm 46 - by John Rutter. The anthem was composed specially for a service to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day in 2020 that was unable to go ahead as planned due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
