The media and sports communities are in mourning following the sudden death of journalist Donald Oliver. Mr Oliver died Tuesday morning after complaining of chest pains. He was 40 years old. His most recent assignment was with the Jamaica Observer, where he served as Audio Visual Manager. At the time of his passing, Mr Oliver was working on a weekly feature titled “Jamaica: Post-Hurricane Melissa,” highlighting firsthand accounts from residents affected by the storm and examining recovery effort
