Explosions hit Qeshm Island, ports along Strait of Hormuz after Trump threatens to hit Iran ‘very hard’.

Several areas in Iran, including western Tehran, the southern islands of Qeshm and Hengam, the towns of Sirik and Minab, were targeted “in response to Iran’s unwarranted and continued aggression.” In response,

President Trump said Iran has "taken too long" to negotiate a peace deal with the US, adding that "now they will have to pay the price."

The U.S. hit 20 targets inside of Iran on Tuesday after Tehran's forces shot down an American Apache helicopter. Both U.S. pilots were saved, but renewed hostilities threaten to derail peace talks.

Iran has claimed to have launched retaliatory strikes on US military bases in the Middle East. This comes after the US said it had completed strikes against Iran that they said were in response to the downing of an Army helicopter.

Trump promised more attacks against Iran on Wednesday.
