The Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash between two semi-trucks that happened early Sunday morning just east of Green River on Interstate 80.

The driver was traveling westbound on I-80 when the tires of an eastbound semi-truck came loose, eventually crossing the median and hitting his vehicle.

Investigators said driving too fast for roadway conditions was the apparent cause of the crash.
